Growing up Chante had many health issues including being overweight, asthma, allergies and cystic acne. As a result she has dedicated her life towards creating and maintaining a healthy lifestyle for herself, and has made it her career to help those around her do the same. Chante wants to provide the younger generations with information so that they are able to create a sturdy foundation of health.
Chante is a recent graduate from the University of Calgary, she is a trained Stott Pilates® instructor, and aims to continue her education in the health and fitness world. For Chante Pilates is the “missing link” in the search for a balanced and healthy lifestyle. Pilates is a pressure free environment that focuses on encouraging mindful movement practices that aid in preventing injury and enhances the mind/body connection. Furthermore it is complimentary to other sports by aiding with posture and balance. Youth not only benefit from the physical aspects of pilates, they also profit from the breathing techniques that strengthen the lungs and help calm the mind. Chante is excited to work with our youth to build a strong and healthy foundation of physical fitness. We are so happy to have her as part of the Jolt team!
